A Day of Healing and Hope for Kids


Join us for a day of warmth, understanding and laughter at Camp Sunshine—an event filled with summer fun for children (ages 5-18) who have experienced a significant change due to death, divorce, separation or abandonment.

When: Saturday, June 20, 2026 | 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Where: Saint Agnes Medical Center, Shehadey Pavilion/Kremen Education Center | 1303 E. Herndon Ave.

Event Schedule & Highlights
8:30-9:15 a.m. – Registration and Breakfast
9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. – Camp and Support Group 

  • Meals: Enjoy a healthy breakfast and lunch.
  • Art: Get creative with The Artist in Me.
  • Reflection: Relax in the meditation garden and walking labyrinth.
  • Animals: Comfort from therapy dogs and fun with gentle horses.
  • Fitness & Games: Stay active with movement-based activities.
  • Parent/Caregiver Grief Support: Connect with others in a supportive group.  

NOTE: Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the day.
Together, let’s create a day of healing and support.
