St. Mary’s Home Health and Hospice named among nation’s top 20 percent for patient satisfaction

Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) recently recognized St. Mary’s Home Health and Hospice for achieving an overall score that ranked in the top 20% in the SHP national HHCAHPS benchmark and scoring for home care. 

The SHP national HHCAHPS benchmark is based on the Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) survey, which measures patients' experiences with home health care agencies. The survey covers topics such as communication, education, care quality and overall satisfaction.

St. Mary’s Home Health and Hospice received this recognition for its performance in the period from October 2022 to September 2023. The agency scored above the national average in all five HHCAHPS domains: care of patients, communication between providers and patients, specific care issues, overall rating of care, and willingness to recommend. 

This achievement reflects the dedication and excellence of St. Mary’s Home Health and Hospice colleagues, who provide compassionate and personalized care to patients and their families in the comfort of their homes.
